Politics

I have never been much into politics.  I grew up in Hawaii, so for those of you unaware of what that entails - it basically means I was taught the history of Hawaii and how "evil" the white man is.  I was not taught about US history, I was not made to memorize the states and all their capitals.  I have never known the names of all the presidents, much less the vice presidents.  I was never taught the constitution nor the declaration.  When I moved to the mainland in 1996 this trend continued.  In high school I was taught a little more, but not much.  I have taken it upon myself to educate myself concerning these matters (and others) because I have heard somewhere that "ignorance is a poor excuse for not knowing" something.  I have bought a few books that I hope to journey through - I'm a VERY slow reader.  I had to get rid of some of the books I got because of their left wing revisionist history views.  I am excited to get to know The Constitution, The Declaration of Independence, the federalist papers and a bit of history as well.  I've been listening to Rush Limbaugh since about mid December (via podcast) and that has been a great blessing and education.  There is truth in what he says.  Truth is an interesting thing as I see it.  The people who don't care about Truth, the Truth doesn't have an effect on them, but for those who are enraptured by the Truth - it is those people who know truth when they hear it.  Conversely they know a lie when they hear it - it is something deeper than a thought, it [Truth] is in our core, our very hearts.  When we hear a lie, something inside of us churns; we may not know whey we feel uneasy but we know something is wrong.  Obama becoming president is the latest example of this uneasy churning of my heart that aids me to seek out the Truth.  God bless Mr. Limbaugh in speaking Truth and shining a candle in these very dark times.  I fear America will never be the same.  I fear too much power has been accumulated [i.e. given] by the federal government.  I fear what the framers of our great nation feared is coming to pass, namely - mob rule i.e. "the will of the majority" (rather than "consent of the governed") and the concentration of powers (rather than separation of powers).  The concentration of powers as we have now in the American government [Democratic Congress (both House and Senate), the most Liberal President EVER, Liberal Judges who legislate from the bench with no opposition] is giving rise to the 21st century elite governing class - also known as a Monarchy.  A better description of what B. Hussein Obama (as Ann Coulter puts it) is doing and those around him is plain Tyranny.

Save God grant a great miracle and deliver our nation out of the stupor it is in I know America as we know it will no longer be and there will not be a "land of the free and home of the brave" left anywhere on this planet.

God save us.
