Today I realized something...
Today I realized that I miss my family. I miss hanging out and talking with my dad and working with him (although I don't miss construction in the cold). I miss my mom's smile and cooking. I miss my sisters laugh and giving spirit. I miss Zach and Ayana, even though they wont remember me for a few more years; and even though I haven't even met Ayana yet. I miss James and talking with him about bikes and cars. I just realized that I miss them all - you all :)
I have been thinking about where I want to live and practice, and right now all the cards are up in the air - I have no idea. Although I like Oregon, the water...everywhere, and the green - oh soooo green. I have about a year until I have to get really serious about this. Whereever we decide we're going to be I know God will be with Lauren and me.

A New Development ... Part 2
So Lauren and I had dinner with the dentist in Sandy tonight. We met at his office first and then went out to a nice little Italian place - very good. Anyway, long story short it did not feel like the right fit. However, I am going to go and observe at his office for half a day or so in a few weeks.
So my search continues and my absolute decision to stay here in Oregon becomes not so absolute - I am starting to question where Lauren and I are going to settle.
Thanks for reading!

A New Development
Hello all of you in the blog-o-sphere. So recently I sent out 49 letters to dentists in south east Portland area, in Estacada, Sandy and Oregon City. In all honesty I did not really expect any one to respond, that is to say that I didn't set much hope on any response. So anyway, I got a response yesterday via email! It seems to be a nice facility, he's been in Sandy for 30 years and he is wanting to start planing for his retirement. We are scheduled to go and see the building then have some dinner on the 22nd of November. One thing that excited me was to see that he volunteers with Medical Teams International, something that I have wanted to do ever since I decided to become a dentist.
Anyway, that's what's new with me. Thanks for reading! Blessings!
