Lauren and I took a nice relaxing day today at the zoo. It was a little cold, we got there when it opened at 9am, but it was really nice. First thing is the time to go, hardly anyone is there. We saw almost all of the animals and then we took the train. Lauren had a fun time (so did I) feeding the Lorikeets. They are a medium sized parrot that can live 60+ years. It was nice to take a break from school and spend time with my wife. Enjoy the pictures below!

An elephant's mandible. It looks like they only have two teeth. The anatomy is quite similar to a human mandible, except for the anterior portion. See the human mandible in the lower left.
