I thought I would never get to this point in school...finally done with second year! It is such a relief to be done with all the didactic education for the most part. Third year is [suppose to be] so much more relaxing and fun; at least that is what all last year's third years say. I greatly look forward to treatment planing, learning to interact with patients and actually doing dentistry!
I came home and crashed at about 6:30 and didn't wake up until after 7 this morning. I feel better, but my brain is in this state of limbo. I have this feeling I need to be studying something, but then I realize I don't need to. It is a strange feeling to have no obligations...feels good! :)
I have signed up to take my Board Exam #1. So far I am the one taking it the latest [October 4th]. Everyone else is taking it at least a month earlier. I want to take my time to study for it and do as well as I am able.
On another note, Lauren and I have almost completely decided to stay here after I graduate. We like the Portland area, the water, the green and the small town feeling. We want land in the future and this is a nice area.
Not much more than that. God bless!
