Time???

Who has time to do anything these days? Being in dental school sure teaches you how to manage to small amount of time you have (if you learn nothing else). I have had a hard time figuring out what I need to read and what I don't need to, but I think over all I'm doing just fine. I finally invested in a digital voice recorder (DVR) which was wise, I am able to listen to lectures over and over agian when I am doing mindless things like cooking or riding the bus. I also just got a Palm TX...wow! this is the coolest little thing I've ever had. it is bluetooth and wi-fi and it can run word, excel and powerpoint. i also have a couple of pharmacology programs that have dental drugs and their contraindications and their mechanisms of action and much more. The one thing i wish it did do was record audio, but it's easy enough to transfer files from my DVR to the Palm. The Palm also helps me keep organized with my time. A very useful feature is it's alarm to remind me about an appointment. I can even view and read pdf files and the images are expandable. Anyway, that's probably more info then you wanted to know about my little technogadget love affair addiction.

On other matters I am really missing home. I miss my parents and my sister and brother-in-law and little nephew and my in-laws. Leah (sister) posted pictures of Zach (nephew) on her blog and it made me really miss Flagstaff and all of them! So I am kinda glad I'm so busy so I don't have time to think about that stuff.

I also just got over a viral infection. I am almost 100% sure it was from some bad MahiMahi I ate. Lauren said it smelled really bad, but I couldn't smell it nor did it taste bad, but after a week of the runs and finally throwing up I got better. Hopefully I can start running again soon. Speaking of running, I had a running dream last night. First I ran a six minuet two mile! and then I ran a 10.5 second 100 meter. Not sure what that's about, but maybe it has something to do with doing so much in school in such a short amount of time. I had 4 exams last week and there are 4 more this coming week.

Since I have stopped my extream diet I feel good. By stop I mean I'm not as extream. I reintroduced red meat the other night and cheese and yogurt, amoung other things. Boy I didn't realize how good food is! But I am still doing the other things too, juicing, eating lots of veggies, ect. I am just trying to find the balance.

Anyway, that's about all that's been going on in my little world. Thanks for reading! :)
